SOSIALISASI UNDANG-UNDANG LALU LINTAS DAN ANGKUTAN JALAN SEBAGAI EDUKASI KESELAMATAN BERKENDARA DI DESA PENAGAN KECAMATAN MENDO BARAT KABUPATEN BANGKA

Abstrak

According to traffic accident data of Bangka Belitung Province in 2018, the number of traffic accidents reached 279 incidents. Based on the identification of black areas, it is known that Bangka Regency is in the top rank as a black area in the 2014-2016 period. Also, the level of traffic accidents in the Bangka Regency can be said to be relatively high. Out of 279 traffic accidents along 2018 in Bangka Belitung Province, the highest number of deaths contributed by Bangka Regency. Therefore, it is necessary to take action to reduce the number of traffic accidents by providing education on how to safety riding for the village community. In this service activity, Penagan Village in West Mendo District Bangka Regency was chosen to be a partner. This activity is divided into 3 stages consist of preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. The preparation stage was carried out by coordinating with the village government first. After that, the implementation stage was carried out by socializing Law Number 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation Mode to the village community. The socialization presented about driving licenses, traffic signs, road markings, and traffic signalization.
