SOSIALISASI TENTANG PERLINDUNGAN HUKUM TERHADAP ANAK YANG BERHADAPAN DENGAN HUKUM

Abstrak

Community Service has been carried out at SMPN. 8 Sungai Penuh Kerinci on 16
July 2020 with face-to-face meetings and 24 August 2020 virtually. with the zoom application. The purpose of community service is to socialize to students of Law no. 11 of 2012 concerning the Criminal Justice System and Law No. 23 of 2002 in conjunction with Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection. This is done because there are many cases of children who think that the law lacks adequate legal protection, both immaterial and material protection. The results of this activity indicate that the enthusiasm of students who take part in this activity is quite high, because it can increase the understanding related to legal protection that can be given to children that can be given to children in accordance with the law, both as perpetrators, monitoring and victims.The method of implementing legal counseling is carried out in partnership with the Principal of SMP Negeri 8 Sungai Penuh Kerinci, with the method of discussion and question and answer, with the hope that in the future this activity will continue to be carried out to increase public knowledge, especially students in various matters.
