WISATA TERPADU ECO-EDU TOURISM MANGROVE SEBAGAI UPAYA PEMBERDAYAAN SOSIAL DAN EKONOMI MASYARAKAT DI SUNGAI BUNTING LESTARI – BELINYU

Abstrak

Sungai Bunting Lestari (SBL) is located at Air Jukung sub-district, Belinyu district, Bangka Regency. SBL is an area where consists of several ponds and surrounded by natural mangrove forest. Therefore, this area is very potential to become an alternative tourism in Bangka Belitung as Eco-Tourism and Edu-Tourism (Eco-Edu Tourism). The establishment of SBL integrated-tourism consists several parts. First, visitors will be served by mangrove parks over-bridge-tracking that offer education on various types of mangrove species. Second, SBL has ponds tourism that offers ponds fishing with seafood restaurant over the ponds. Then, there is route trip from SBL area to nearby islands in Teluk Kelabat. Last, visitors must bring our trademark souvenirs which is mangrove-product meals. This integrated tourism project in SBL become the social community empowerment as enviroment preservation efforts which favor the unique and local condition of SBL itself. Furthermore, The SBL integrated tourism also will improve the local community economics both direct or indirectly. Finally, the support of government is very needed in the future to promote the Eco-Edu Tourism of SBL as main tourism spot in Bangka Belitung.
